CHANGES IN BUSINESS OPERATIONS FROM 1 JANUARY 2005
Dear Clients, Prospective Clients, Family and Friends
As advised in our last newsletter, CyberGuru wishes to advise of a series
of changes in how CyberGuru will operate from 1 January 2005. Many of
these requests have come from our last survey and others from operational
requirements.
These changes include:

Price Increase
Over the last few years, our pricing has remained the same although our
expenses have increased considerably during this time.
CyberGuru now wishes to advise our standard price is increasing to
$50/hour. For on-site visits, a $20 call out fee also applies.
We are pleased to say that CyberGuru's prices are still one of the most
affordable around.
Annual Design Contracts
At the time of writing, most if not all of our existing website design
clients have been advised on changes to the updating and maintenance of
their websites, particularly of the new arrangement of issuing quotations
and invoices as well as the price increase.
These quotations include the existing website maintenance that is
performed although hours of work may have been adjusted according to
requirements. If any other services be required outside of the duties
described as the year progresses, CyberGuru will provide a separate
quotation. CyberGuru will submit a quotation for website maintenance every
October so that charges and services can be revised and renewed annually.
If you have not received a letter and quotation from CyberGuru and you are
currently on a regular website maintenance plan with us, please contact us
immediately to ensure you receive these details.
Annual Support Contracts
From January 2005, CyberGuru will only be offering limited free phone and
online support for our clients.
Should you wish to have this assistance provided to you, CyberGuru will be
offering an annual support contract for both phone and online support
through a special website.
For $250 per year, clients can make contact with CyberGuru with any
computer related enquiry. We will strive to respond within 48 hours. If
you do not purchase an annual support contract and send an enquiry, we
will charge you at our standard price to your account.
Due to ongoing costs of both time and resources, we are no longer able to
offer phone and email support free of charge. Please be assured however
that these changes will ensure that we are able to offer the best possible
service that you have come to expect of CyberGuru.
To ensure we continue to deliver the high quality service to you, we
recommend that you request an invoice for the annual support contract now.

Website Starter Packages
Prospective clients of CyberGuru have been advised of our new “website
starter packages”. The packages bundle together two year’s domain name
registration, a year’s website hosting (as well as email accounts and
statistics) and initial website design. Together, they feature everything
you need to get your online presence started. CyberGuru’s starter website
packages are great value for money. Prices ranging from $550 for a
“Bronze” website to $1550 for a “Platinum” website.

Business Partnerships
On November 1, CyberGuru formed a collaborative arrangement with Yabbyland
Web Design, a Sydney-based web design agency and Macintosh computer
consultation service that provide exceptional services to our clients
through CyberGuru.
CyberGuru and Yabbyland are collaborating in website design projects and
as well as assistance and assistance in widening our areas of expertise.
