3D Realms, Formally Apogee Software, were a popular software developed that produced a range of educational and entertaining programs in the late 1980s and 1990s. A range of shareware and freeware episodes of classic games such as Duke Nukem, as well as some freeware versions of registered games such as Alien Carnage, Bio Menace, Boppin', Major Stryker and Stargunner.

Remembering these are games designed for MS-DOS based operating system, 3D Realms also provide some downloads to enable some of their programs to work under modern operating systems such as Windows XP and Vista.
