Most web browsers, including Internet Explorer, keep a
history of what you have been looking at during your Internet session for
future reference. This can often be more of a hindrance than a helpful
feature as other users of your computer can see the addresses of websites
that you have been looking through.
To ensure your privacy and security, a safe measure to
practice is to delete your browsing history, particularly after using the
internet in a public place, such as an internet cafe, university or school
computers.
Here’s how to delete your browsing history:
Click the Start button, then click Internet Explorer.
Click the Tools menu, then click Delete Browsing History....
The
Delete Browsing History
window will appear.
From this window, you can delete individually Temporary Internet
Files, Cookies, History, Form data, and passwords by clicking the
respective button beside the description (ie. Delete files...)
or all of them all together by clicking Delete all.....
Internet Explorer will then confirm whether you are sure you wish to
delete this.
Once confirmed, Internet Explorer will then delete your files.
