With
security such a big issue in computers these days, it is essential that
all computer users have installed on their computer a firewall to
prevent hackers gaining unlawful entry into your computer.
We recommend Comodo Firewall Pro as a firewall for your computer. Whilst
we previously recommended ZoneAlarm, the free version does not support
home networks, whereas Comodo Firewall Pro is free for commercial use
and supports networks.
Here's how to download and install it!
Downloading Comodo Firewall Pro

In
your web browser, go to
http://www.personalfirewall.comodo.com/. This will take you
to the “Comodo Free Firewall Software Download” page. |

Click
the red Download Now! button. This will take you to the page
featuring the download. |

Choose the setup version you wish to install (32-bit or 64-bit) and
click Click here to download. |

Click
Run. |
Installing Comodo Firewall Pro
|
The Comodo Firewall Pro Installer will commence. Click Next >. |
|
The Installer will warn you to uninstall any third party personal
firewall before installing Comodo Firewall Pro. Ensure you do not
have any third party personal firewall installed and click Yes. |

Read the licence agreement. Click Yes. |
|
Select your destination folder. Click Next >. |
|
The Installer will then extract and install files. |
|
When asked which licence to set up, select Lifetime free licence and
click Next >. |
|
The Comodo Firewall Pro Configuration Wizard will the commence. It
is recommended you accept the recommended options and click Next
>. |

Click Finish. |
