Windows Live Sign-In Assistant is useful for those who wish to manage for multiple Windows Live IDs to appear at sign on onto their Windows Live applications such as Hotmail and Spaces. This program enables users who access these regularly to appear as a list on the sign-in page and record their password if desired (please note if you are using a public computer this is not recommended). It is particularly useful if you have multiple people using a computer in a family home or an individual with several accounts.

It is a small and simple download, and even if you don't wish to have other Windows Live programs installed on your computer, this update enables users to save time entering their account details when you log on.

To download and install Windows Live Sign-In Assistant:

bulletConnect to the Internet as per usual.
bulletIn the address bar, type http://get.live.com.

The Windows Live page will appear. Click Get Windows Live.

On the list of "Select the products you want to install", uncheck all of these checkboxes.

bulletOn the list of "Select your settings", uncheck all of these checkboxes.
bulletClick Install.
bulletShould any Security Warning appears, click Run.
bulletThe Windows Live Installer will appear and install Sign-in Assistant.
bulletOnce the installation has completed, click Close.

That's it, next time you log into Windows Live Hotmail, or Windows Live Spaces,
Windows Live Sign-In Assistant you will be prompted with your multiple user IDs.
