If you are looking at purchasing your upgrade to Windows 8, don’t forget to do so by next Thursday, 31 January 2013. It is understood that the retail price at this time for the software is likely to become significantly more expensive at this time (ranging from 200% to 400% depending on the edition purchased).

From our personal experience, we would suggest purchasing it and holding off on installing it until you are ready to so and comfortable to make the adjustment. However, purchasing it now will be an investment for the future even if it is another year (or more) before you upgrade. CyberGuru is happy to help with any consulting, support and training requirements you may have when you are ready to do so. Please contact us if we can be of any assistance.

CyberGuru suggests only computers purchased in the past few years are upgraded as they are more likely to support the necessary hardware and software the changes made to Microsoft’s operating system. If you have purchased a Windows 7 PC during the time of the Windows Upgrade Offer, you do have a little longer to upgrade!
