The National Broadband Network (nbn), formally NBN Co, recently released its three-year construction for proposed construction work up until September 2018. It is understood that the nbn will provide an updated document every three months to review the status of new areas and variations.
The media announcement, released last month noted that 7.5 million homes and businesses across Australia were scheduled to start construction in next three years, and of which the estimate was 1,504,480 homes and businesses were are in plan to start construction by September 2018.
We are often asked when a premises is likely to receive the nbn. A summary of some of the local areas as currently shown on the nbn construction plan are as follows:
