ACru Wealth Financial Advisory
Case Study
ACru Wealth was founded by the amalgamation of two existing financial advisory brands, with the vision to showcase the best of both these.
The Challenge
To combine the infrastructure of two existing companies into one. Both brands had previously used Google Workspace for email and data storage, but ACru Wealth would Microsoft 365.
The Solution
The agreed upon strategy for the creation of ACru Wealth was to:
- Create a new Microsoft 365 environment
- Set up the structure for ACru Wealth going forward
- Perform a complex migration from Google Workspace into the new Microsoft 365 tenancy
- Create a roadmap to perform further security uplifts over the first two years in line with their budget and changing legal requirements.
The Results
One year after the migration, an independent audit of the environment was conducted by a third-party commissioned by the licensee. The auditor congratulated ACru Wealth on setup of their Microsoft 365 environment as it was one of the best he had ever assessed.
ACru Wealth has since performed further uplifts enhance their security and meet their legal obligations. CyberGuru continues to provide ongoing proactive management of their IT environment including devices, Microsoft 365 and backups.
CyberGuru has also provided training to assist ACru Wealth in better utilising the vast array of features within the Microsoft 365 suite, including using Microsoft Bookings for client review meetings. CyberGuru has also worked with ACru Wealth in seeking cyber insurance.

Regional Development Australia (RDA) Moreton Bay is a not-for-profit organisation and part of a national network of organisations committed to driving economic growth, innovation and entrepreneurship. in regions. through facilitating investment in community, industry and the environment.
The Challenge
RDA Moreton Bay approached CyberGuru after being referred by another government organisation that we had worked with previously. They were looking for a reliable and experienced IT partner who could help them to maintain and enhance their IT environment.
Some of the challenges they faced included:
